I've tried many different antivirus programs and have found BitDefender to have one of the best detection rates. For the price there simply isn't a better option. I will agree that the program itself has had some bugs and issues over different versions. I've found the 2010 version to be excellent if you download the latest of this version. The initial release of 2010 has occasional issues with updating. I haven't had the crashing issue others have mentioned except on a couple older machines. Usually, re-installing helped with this. I've had countless instances, though, where a better known and much more expensive antivirus missed something that BitDefender caught right away. Also, if a new version comes out, you can upgrade and use your current serial # for free.

I bought this Bitdefender at a computer store. It was recomendered by an employ. I downloader the program and I have been very happy with it. I have tryed several and was very disapointed. Either the program slowed my Pc, was hard to use or hard to download, and the biggie pore support if any at all. This program has taken care of my PC. It tells me when there is a problem and all I have to do is click the "Fix it" button and that's all, what could be easyer? [Tip, have you PC in good "running condition".]

i bought this security program a few weeks ago and i think it works great. although i havent had any infections or viruses on my computer. it was very easy to install. i get updates every day or 2 from their site. its a very good internet security program to purchase.

Though I would have preferred to stick with my GData anti-virus software, Bitdefender's Internet Security is a good replacement. It installs quickly and is easy to use. As far as I can tell, it has kept my computer free from viruses. (Knock on wood.) The background scanning is especially nice because it doesn't slow down my computer--a far cry from Norton anti-virus software. Bitdefender wasn't expensive, but I feel I would have gotten more bang for my buck if I had gone with their total security software. Maybe I will once the license on this one runs out.

I have worked with Norton and McAfee. Bitdefender has been by far the best of the bunch. No computer slow down when in game mode (love that option). Great value!
No buying for 3 computers when I only have 1 like McAfee said I had to. I am impressed and will recommend this every chance I get.
